Biography
Lifted Selection Sound spins turns since 2008. Lifted Records was established in 2020.
Lifted currently consists of Redwan (MC/Host), Iriginal Blenda (DJ/Selecta, Engineer) and Mistah Ministah (DJ/Selecta, Even Manager).
Recently, Lifted opened a branch in Ghana with the members Raja Flame (MC/Host) and Bongo (DJ/Selecta).
Lifted Selection’s goal is to push Reggae & Dancehall music worldwide, and especially all over Ghana and Switzerland. In Glarus, their quaint hometown, which is located in the foothills of the Alps, Lifted remains the first and only Soundsystem.
In 2012, Lifted participated in their first clash, the 1,2,3 Baddadan at the Couple in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland (http://www.baddadan.ch/2012/2012.htm). In 2017 they participated in the Kill & Destroy clash at Paraiba in Olten, Switzerland (https://www.mixcloud.com/killndestroy/kill-destroy-soundclash-2017/). During this period Lifted build up a broad and deep dubplate box with many exclusive tunes.
Throughout the years Lifted juggled at over 30 clubs in Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
Since 2018, Lifted focused more on producing music, and released their first Riddim Compilation, the Bungalow Riddim with artists, such as Beenie Man, Lisa Hyper, Perfect Giddimani and Melloquence.
